Largest seawater desalination plant in Oman

Barka Desalination Company (BDC) is the owner of Barka IWP (Independent Water Project) located in Barka, South Batinah Governorate, Sultanate of Oman. With a capacity of 281,000 cubic meters per day (61.8 Million Gallons) BDC proudly contributes an additional 20% of the Sultanate’s total water production.
